Signature Viewer: Validate XAdES Signatures in Chrome
Signature Viewer is a Chrome add-on developed by OpenSBR. It is a free tool that allows users to validate the signatures on Inline XBRL documents. This plugin is endorsed by the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) and XBRL International.
With Signature Viewer, users can easily verify the authenticity and integrity of XAdES signatures embedded in Inline XBRL documents. By validating the signature, users can ensure that the document has not been tampered with and that it comes from a trusted source.
The plugin only reads website documents and does not store, collect, or forward any information. Web browser activity is temporarily stored in-memory for the duration of the signature validation and is not stored, submitted, or exchanged. Additionally, locally stored user data is encrypted using AES-256.
For those working with Inline XBRL documents, Signature Viewer is a valuable tool to ensure the validity and integrity of signatures. It provides a straightforward and secure way to verify XAdES signatures in Chrome.
